Photo shows the stamp of a seal designed for the China Pavilion passport, featuring Chinese lantern and the Chinese characters of Chinese Pavilion.
An art exhibition opened on Sunday in Beijing, highlighting seal engraving art to stamp on the China Pavilion passports for the Expo 2020 Dubai.
The seals, designed by a renowned Chinese artist Li Yangmin, will leave lantern-colored stamps featuring Chinese characteristics on passports that keeps a record of visitors' journey of the largest pavilion in the Expo.
The art of Chinese seal engraving, a combination of both calligraphy and engraving, embodies deep cultural roots and thus becomes an excellent symbol for Chinese culture, said Li.
Other forms of Chinese traditional arts, such as calligraphy and painting, by the same artist have also been put on display.
The exhibition takes place at the Art Gallery of International Cultural Exchange in Beijing from Oct. 10 to Oct. 17 before it continues its national tour.
